EURECA-m CME Course in Warsaw

Last July 4th and 5th, 2014 the EURECA-m Board Member and the new President of the ERA-EDTA, Prof. Andrzej Wiecek, organized the 2nd EURECA-m CME Course of the year in Warsaw, Poland.

The CME Course venue was the Hotel Bristol, situated in the heart of Warsaw, on the famous Royal Route. The hotel delights with neo-renaissance facade and romantic interiors, filled with luxury finishes and Art Deco elegance and is situated next to the Presidential Palace, just a few steps from the Old Town, the Royal Castle and the 200-year-old National Theater and Opera House, with their unforgettable atmosphere and the touch of historic grandeur.

Warsaw and the Hotel Bristol also hosted the EURECA-m Board meeting held, shortly before the CME Course.

About 100 scientists from Poland, United Kingdom, Brazil and India participated in the CME Course and they all received promotional material concerning various ERA-EDTA activities.

The CME discussed of “Cardiovascular complications in patients with chronic kidney disease” in all aspects with 13 talks by experts in the field grouped into 3 sessions as below:
