Mariusz Kusztal is a 42 year-old Polish nephrologist, internist and father of two sons. He is a graduate of Wroclaw Medical University and Postgraduate School of Molecular Medicine in Warsaw. Dr Kusztal specializes in renal replacement therapy and general nephrology.

His interests also include hemodialysis technical aspects, vascular access, extracorporeal therapy. As a associate professor of medicine at Wroclaw Medical University is involved in teaching medical and PhD students.

In his free time he loves spending time in the mountains with family; cross country skiing in the winter and MTB riding in the summer.
