ERA-EDTA is a Global Leading Organization for clinicians and scientists in nephrology.
Founded in 1963, it operates as a Clinical Charity, with over 9,000 members worldwide and today it is one of the most important and prestigious European Medical Associations.
With the objective to further growth and development in the next few years, ERA-EDTA is searching for a key role for the Marketing and Communication Manager. This role has a strategic relevance within the Association and will directly report to our Executive Director, based in Parma (Italy), where the operational Headquarters of the Association is based.
The Marketing and Communication Manager will:
Plan, execute and regularly assess the overall communication strategy of the Association.
Develop the marketing and communication plan addressed to the different key targets of the Association, ensuring the highest communication effectiveness both in terms of general impact on the Association as well as on every single strategic initiative.
Strategically leverage the different communication channels and tools, also with specific reference to social media.
Directly coordinates the specific activity of his/her collaborators and ensures a “unified strategy” for all the communications of all the activities of the Association.
Manage contacts with the key Sponsor Companies from the exploratory contact phase to the finalization of agreements and execution, related to the Events of the Association, in alignment with The Events Manager.
High school Diploma / University Degree.
Fluent English spoken and written.
Strategic mentality and organizational spirit.
Open, constructive and proactive personality, with strong motivation in being part of a close team.
Solid sense of belonging, full compliance with the rules of the Association and strong determination to achieve the planned results/aims/objectives.
Background in medical sector and experience in scientific communities will be appreciated, yet not mandatory as the Association is also willing to provide adequate initial guidance.
