Due to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, there are travel restrictions in place in many European countries, therefore to ensure the safety of all participants, the CME Introductory Course on Epidemiology has been postponed to 2021.
Introductory Course on Epidemiology
Many nephrologists perform some kind of research in addition to their clinical duties. The aim of this epidemiology course is to teach nephrologists, pediatric nephrologists, and nephrology researchers basic epidemiology principles and to have them practice their new skills in hands-on sessions (exercises, discussions and SPSS). The knowledge and skills obtained will assist participants to improve the quality of their nephrology research.
The course consists of lectures and hands-on sessions using the statistical software program SPSS. Interaction with the audience is an important objective.
