Nephrology Virtual Preceptorship: Fracture Prevention in CKD
Bone disease has some enigmatic aspects because of the wide variety of its presentations, the limited ability to make correct diagnosis without invasive procedures, but a rapidly expanding field of treatment options that do require precise diagnosis.
The ‘Nephrology Virtual Preceptorship: Fracture Prevetion in CKD’, a fully virtual event organised by CKD-MBD Working Group, one of the official ERA-EDTA Working Groups, has been held on December 4, 2020.

The aim of this epidemiology course is to teach nephrologists, pediatric nephrologists, and nephrology researchers basic epidemiology principles and to have them practice their new skills in hands-on sessions (exercises, discussions and SPSS). The knowledge and skills obtained will assist participants to improve the quality of their nephrology research.
