My membership has expired: what can I do to remain a member?
The outstanding membership fees can be paid for a maximum of 2 years: after this time the member is automatically cancelled from the membership database and must re-apply, as a new member, should he/she wish to become an ERAEDTA member again; this also means that the membership will start only from the new application and NOT from the original one.
I would like to renew my membership automatically, how can I set it up?
Once you are at the payment step of your membership fee, you click on the checkbox “ I enable the recurring payment feature (automatic charge at the beginning of each year), in order to allow ERA-EDTA to automatically renew my subscription (same fee) using this credit card. ERA-EDTA will not store your credit card information
I cannot login to My ERA-EDTA, why?
Login to My ERA-EDTA is reserved only to Active members who have settled their membership fee for the current year.
Therefore, you may still have not settled your membership fee for the current year. Click here to renew your membership fee
Can I get a receipt of the payment?

I just paid my membership by credit card, but I cannot register to the ERA-EDTA Congress as a member cat. A/B, what can I do?

I just applied for ERA-EDTA Membership and I wish to register for the congress as a member. When will I be accepted?
If you have already settled your membership fee for the current year when the congress is held, you may register immediately to the congress at the rate reserved to ERA-EDTA members (cat. A/B)
If you pay your membership fee by bank transfer, please allow at least 5 working days before you can register as a member (cat. A/B)
I have to change my address and/or e-mail: how can I do it?
Login to My ERA-EDTA and change your details.
What are my membership type options?
Full members – This includes all members who reside in Europe, in countries boarding Europe and the Mediterranean. Click here to view these countries
Associate members – This includes all members who reside outside the above mentioned countries.
I am retiring and would like to know if there are any special offers for senior members.
All members who have been so for more than 15 uninterrupted consecutive years, who have reached 60 years of age and who have retired from practice, can become a Senior Member of the ERA-EDTA. As a Senior member you will receive all the ERA-EDTA membership benefits (including a free subscription to NDT online, but will not be requested to pay an annual membership fee), however should you wish to receive also the hardcopy of the journal, then there is a fee to cover. Please check the membership fees here.
In order to apply for ERA-EDTA senior member, please send your request to the ERA-EDTA Membership Office.
How do I access My ERA-EDTA of the ERA-EDTA website?
Please login to My ERA-EDTA with the ERA-EDTA credentials that you have received when you applied for membership.
If you have forgotten them, you may click on “forgotten password?” by clicking here and you will automatically receive them to your email.

Does ERA-EDTA offer discounts for students, trainees or fellows?
Both Associate and Full members who are up to the age of 40 years old can apply for Junior membership status. This allows them to receive all the advantages of being a member, including a free online subscription to NDT, by paying a special annual membership fee. See more details here.
How can I get my credentials to access NDT online?
If you are a new member, you should have received a message from Oxford University Press on how to create your credentials. To set up your account visit “My Account” at https://academic.oup.com/my-account/register

If you are already a member, then you may retrieve your credentials, by inserting your Oxford University Press code of the NDT website.
By when do I have to renew my membership for uninterrupted access to NDT online?
Usually, we must receive the payment, by October.
When will I start to receive the hardcopy of NDT?
As soon as you pay your membership fee, ERA-EDTA will review and send your details to the Publisher that will take care of sending the journal to the address you wrote in your application form.
Please allow at least 10 working days for delivery within Europe and USA and 21 working days for the rest of the world.
I just paid my membership fee by credit card, but I cannot login to NDT online.
If you are a new member, please allow up to 10 working days before you are allowed to login. If you are already a member, then you may login immediately through My ERA-EDTA of the ERA-EDTA website
I’m interested on becoming a member, but I do not wish to subscribe to the journal. Is there a special fee?
All those members who, for one reason or another, do NOT wish to receive a subscription to the NDT Journal (print and/or online), can pay the “Reduced Fee”. They will receive all the other membership benefits except the subscription to the NDT Journal.
Can I renew my membership for more than 1 year?
Yes, ERA-EDTA gives the possibility to renew the membership up to 3 years.
I’d like to join the Young Nephrologists Platform – YNP: how can I do this?
If you are up to 40 years old and an ERA-EDTA Junior member, you are automatically included in the YNP at no extra cost. Please check full information on how to join here.
