The ERA-EDTA has three prestigious Awards which are bestowed upon outstanding clinical and basic science investigator members of our society.
The nomination of these Awards is open to all ERA-EDTA members. Members who are willing to propose names of outstanding colleagues who could be nominated are kindly asked to submit their proposals electronically.
The ERA-EDTA Awards will be given during the Welcome Ceremony of the 2020 ERA-EDTA Congress in Milan (Italy).

STANLEY SHALDON AWARD
The Stanley Shaldon Award is designed to be an acknowledgment to Young Investigators who, thanks to his/her early achievements, stimulate the dialogue between education and research.
The Awardee will receive the “Stanley Shaldon Prize” which consists of a prize of EUR 10,000.00. Furthermore, the winner will also be an invited guest to the next ERA-EDTA Congress (Milan, Italy June 3-6, 2020). He/she will receive free accommodation, travel and congress registration. He/she will also receive a plaque and a diploma. Finally, the winner will receive three years of free ERA-EDTA membership and, automatically, become an ex-officio member of the Board of the ERA-EDTA Young Nephrologists’ Platform.

Stanley Shaldon Award
This candidature is open to all Young Nephrology Platform (YNP) Members, who are also Full members of the ERA-EDTA (Cat. A and B), that:
-are younger than 40 years of age in the year in which the application is submitted;
-have at least 5 first/last author papers in kidney research related studies (renal medicine) Journals;
-have oral presentations at international conferences to present their own data;
-have submitted an abstract to the ERA-EDTA Congress.
Candidacies must be submitted using this electronic form by January 15, 2020.
