For the 2020 ERA-EDTA Virtual Congress instead three experts in Ethics were invited for the following Symposia:

At the beginning of 2019, an evaluation and selection of the best proposals was put forward for the topics of ERA-EDTA’s 1st Scientific Educational and Interaction Day (SEID) that was held in Vienna (Austria) on October 25-26, 2019. Many different proposals were submitted and only a few had the possibility of being accepted following a strict evaluation by the SAB (Scientific Advisory Board), unfortunately the EC proposal was not accepted but a new submission will be made as soon as a new SEID will be organized.

FUTURE ACTIVITIES

The EC has suggested to collaborate with the Young Nephrologists’ Platform as the sole other committee, apart from the Ethics Committee, that according to the rules can suggest speakers attending the ERA-EDTA annual congress. The collaboration proposal letter sent to YNP was warmly accepted by its Board Members so a closer collaboration between the two Committees will be implemented.
