The first NDT visual abstract is online!

NDT is very proud to present its first visual abstract based on the NDT article ‘Sodium thiosulphate and progression of vascular calcification in end-stage renal disease patients: a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled study’ by P. Djuric et al.

The next ERA-EDTA/GlomCon webinar will be held on 10 December 2019 at 5pm CET (4pm GMT, 8am PST). Louise Oni will present on “Management of HSP Nephritis: what can the adult nephrologist learn from the paediatric experience?”. The panelists will be Rosanna Coppo, Emily McQuarrie and Jürgen Floege.

The SEID webcast is online!

The webcast of the first Scientific Educational and Interaction Day (SEID), held on 25-26 October 2019 in Vienna (Austria), is now available on the ERA-EDTA website.

This educational event organised by EUROD, a CKD-MBD working group initiative, is held on 16-18 January 2020 in Leuven (Belgium). The meeting is meant for basic and clinical researchers in CKD-MBD with a focus on renal bone disease, and offers a research forum and two CMEs on ‘Vitamins and oxidative stress on the cross-roads of bone and vessels’ and ‘The challenge of osteoporosis in CKD’.

Why don’t you send your candidacy for the 2020 ERA-EDTA elections?

All full active members, in particular women, young members, and full members from countries that are currently not represented in the ERA-EDTA Council, working groups or committees, are encouraged to actively participate in the elections, by both submitting their candidatures and/or voting for the election of the new members.

The BioMed Alliance’s open letter to the EU commission asking to add the word “research” to the title of commissioner Mariya Gabriel has been successful

The new title will be “Commissioner for Research, Innovation, Education, Culture & Youth”.

ERA-EDTA is a member of the BioMed Alliance.
