ERA-EDTA is at ASN's 2019 Kidney Week

ERA-EDTA is present at the Scientific Exposition of ASN’s Kidney Week held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC (USA) until November 9, 2019. The 2019 “Clinical Transplantation Day”, organised by DESCARTES and endorsed by ESOT and EKITA, will be organised on November 29, 2019 in Barcelona (Spain). The title of this year edition is One size does not fit all - Specific challenges posed by individual donors, recipients and transplant characteristics.

DESCARTES/EKITA ordinary members are encouraged to submit abstracts dealing with all aspects of organ transplantation at events@euromeetings.it by October 31, 2019.

Intranasal desmopressin reduces bleeding complications during renal biopsies and serum sodium levels in CKD patients.

In patients with renal dysfunction that do not hemodialysis, desmopressin reduces overall renal biopsy-related bleeding complications, especially minor complications such as perinephric hematomas.
