![]() Earn European credits at the 2019 SEID The Scientific and Educational Interaction Day (SEID) has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 10 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should only claim the hours of credit that he/she actually spent doing the educational activity. Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Information on the process on how to convert EACCME® credits into AMA credits can be found at www.ama-assn.org/education/earn-credit-participation-international-activities. The ERA-EDTA Working Group on Inherited Kidney Diseases (WGIKD) and ERKNet, the European Reference Network for Rare Kidney Diseases, are pleased to present Rare Kidney Disease Webinars, an educational initiative that is freely accessible to all users. A new Webinar will be held on Tuesday October 1, 2019 from 4:00 to 5:00 pm CET (3:00 pm UK time, 5:00 pm Eastern European time). Two decades of the Eurotransplant Senior Program: the gender gap in mortality impacts patient survival after kidney transplantation Long-term outcomes of the Eurotransplant Senior Program (ESP) are urgently needed to improve selection criteria and allocation policies in the elderly. Long-term outcomes of ESP-KTRs ultimately support the effectiveness of an age-matched allocation system. Authors, supported by data, suggest that the survival advantage of women is maintained after kidney transplantation and calls for gender-specific care. Click here to read the paper.
