Treatment of dyslipidemia in CKD: where do we stand now?
Presented by Charles Ferro

Dyslipidemia represents a disorder of lipoprotein metabolism, including lipoprotein overproduction or deficiency. It contributes to the development of atherosclerosis and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular adverse events. Serum cholesterol levels have first been linked to the risk of coronary heart disease forty years ago in the Framingham Study.

AKI in Covid-19 patients: mechanisms and management

The novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an acute, sometimes severe, non-specific respiratory syndrome accompanied by a generalized inflammatory response caused by a novel coronavirus SARS-CoV2. It was first reported in late 2019 in Wuhan, China, and has since spread in China and globally.
