The EKHA Board met on October 12-13, 2016 to further discuss ongoing and future activities of the Alliance. Discussion points included the theme of the 2017 European Kidney Forum, which will be “Patient’s choice of treatment” and will aim at reflecting on how to move towards a shift from “patient compliance” to “treatment compliance” whereby the treatment is adapted to the needs and lifestyle of the patient. The Forum will take place on April 11, 2017 in Brussels (Belgium).
EKHA also welcomed prospective industry partners for the Roundtable of Industry Partners introductory meeting, an initiative aiming to create a forum for on-going networking and strategic dialogue, joint exploration of common challenges in kidney health in Europe and feedback to EKHA on potential collaboration across stakeholder groups.
