NEW closing session at ERA-EDTA on May 27: "Nephrology Pearls"

Starting with the 2018 ERA-EDTA Congress in Copenhagen, there will be a new important closing session that you will not want to miss.

The duration of this session will be 90 minutes (12.30-14.00) with 5 internationally recognised speakers talking about the latest updates and novelties in Nephrology. The clinically oriented presentations will focus on the previous year research and achievements in important fields of interest: Basic Science and Translational Nephrology (Paola Romagnani, Italy), Epidemiology and Clinical Nephrology (Ziad Massy, France), ESKD and Dialysis (Peter Blankestijn, Netherlands), Kidney Transplantation (Daniel Abramowicz, Belgium) and Hypertension and Diabetes (Peter Rossing, Denmark).

55^th ERA-EDTA Congress 2018: Two industry symposia supported by Vifor Fresenius Medical Care Renal Pharma

During the upcoming 55^th ERA-EDTA Congress 2018, the following two industry symposia supported by Vifor Fresenius Medical Care Renal Pharma will be presented:

1. Controversies surrounding RAASi treatment and hyperkalaemia in cardio-renal patients
   Key topics: “Pathophysiology of recurrent hyperkalaemia”, “RAASi benefits in slowing down kidney function decline” and “New treatment options in hyperkalaemia management”.

The submission for the free printing service for poster authors at the 55^th ERA-EDTA Congress is now open! Poster authors are invited to prepare their posters, log in to ENP at www.enp-era-edta.org, click on their profile and open the submission page. They will then be able to print their posters for free and pick them up on site in Copenhagen.

Get ready for Copenhagen and take advantage of the Travel Pass!

For large international congresses in Copenhagen, like the ERA-EDTA Annual meeting, delegates are offered easy and inexpensive public transport with a Travel Pass. UEMS/EACCME Accreditation

The 55^th ERA-EDTA Congress has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 23 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found at www.ama-assn.org/education/earn-credit-participation-international-activities.
