New e-campus area at ERA-EDTA 2018 Congress featuring COMPACT RENAL and beyond!
Educational materials from COMPACT RENAL will be showcased in the new e-Campus area at the 55th ERA-EDTA Congress in Copenhagen. The e-Campus will be introduced in a new format with many features and educational tools: dedicated computer learning stations providing access to COMPACT RENAL educational materials and much more besides, a rare disease corner, providing information on cystinosis, ANCA vasculitis and other rare conditions, Internet access points and refreshments.

Effective use of social media may improve the educational value of nephrology conferences.
There has been a unique and notable effort by nephrology societies to craft a structured social media strategy that results in the broadest reach to the community of nephrology providers. In a recently published review in the CKJ, the first three such experiments performed by three separate nephrology organisations were reported.

The best rated abstracts submitted by the young
This year the ERA-EDTA has also decided to give up to 90 travel grants (for a total amount of 50,000 EUR) to the young authors (≤ 40 years old) of the best rated abstracts in the various categories to attend its Annual Congress.

Join the European Kidney Forum in the European Parliament
European Kidney Forum — Kidney Donation & Transplantation – The gift of life is an important event, organised by EKHA, aimed at raising awareness about organ donation. The meeting, to be held in Brussels (Belgium) at the European Parliament on April 26, 2018, under the auspices of MEP Group for Kidney Health, will focus on best practices to improve access to Kidney Transplantation in Europe.
