How safe and efficient is the pretreating of EN with SPS in pediatric patients with hyperkalemia? A retrospective cohort study published in CKJ showed its efficacy, if a close monitoring of electrolytes is warranted.

In memory of Prof. Dr. Beat von Albertini
The ERA-EDTA is in mourning for the loss of Prof. Dr. Beat von Albertini, a renowned representative of European Nephrology and Senior member of the ERA-EDTA. The ERA-EDTA Council and the whole Association would like to honour the life and achievements of Prof. Dr. Beat von Albertini with an In Memoriam tribute written by Prof. Daniel Teta, Prof. Michel Burnier and Dr. Anne Cherpillod Grau.
