Paris, April 19th, 2005

Dear Colleague,

I served the ERA-EDTA in the past as co-president of the Nice meeting and I had the pleasure and privilege to give several lectures at the annual meetings. I also have experience as a past councillor of the ISN and current associate editor of Kidney International . Furthermore, I have accepted with great pleasure to serve as a Chair of the Scientific Committee for the ERA-EDTA Congress in Glasgow in 2006.

As a candidate for the next election to ERA-EDTA Council, I am willing to serve the ERA-EDTA and to contribute to boost basic and clinical Nephrology in Europe.

Thank you in advance for your support

Best regards
