The topics ranged from simple measures of disease frequency to Cox's regression analysis and causation. Particular emphasis was given to epidemiology concepts in relationship to statistical analysis. Each key-note lecture was  followed by a rich interaction and the course included hands-on computer sessions with practical exercises based on  standard statistical software. The splendid Toledo landscape offered an unique ambience to this course and participants enjoyed strolling in the old town centre after the long working days.
