ERA-EDTA Registry Newsletter 15

The scientific staff of the ERA-EDTA Registry Office altogether includes 5.8 full time equivalent and consists of:

•	Kitty Jager, MD, PhD (managing director, senior epidemiologist)
	- Management and supervision of ERA-EDTA Registry staff
	- Project leader of NephroQUEST and the ERA-EDTA/ESPN Registry; and member of several QUEST Working/Study groups, ERBP, and the SysKID project.

•	Vianda Stel, PhD (epidemiologist)
	- Data collection and analysis for the Annual Report (B-section)
	- Research projects: Residual renal function and clinical outcomes, Access to transplant waiting list, SysKID project.
	- Author of methodological papers for epidemiology series.

•	Marlies Noordzij, PhD (epidemiologist)
	- Coordinator of the ERA-EDTA CME Introductory Courses on Epidemiology and the ERA-EDTA Registry Newsletter, member of QUEST Coding & Definitions Working Group.
	- Research project: Pregnancy in chronic dialysis patients.
	- Author of methodological papers for epidemiology series.

•	Karlijn van Stralen, PhD (epidemiologist)
	- Coordinator of ERA-EDTA/ESPN registry: data collection and analysis for Annual Report (paediatrics)
	- Author of methodological papers for epidemiology series.

•	Anneke Kramer, MSc (PhD student, medical informatician)
	- Data collection and analysis for Annual Report (A-section)
	- Research projects to result in a PhD thesis: EUGLOREH, Renal transplantation in children, Trends in incidence and prevalence of RRT.

•	Moniek van de Luijtgaarden, MSc (PhD student, epidemiologist)
	- Data collection and analysis for Annual Report (A-section).
	- Research projects to result in a PhD thesis: Dialysis modality choice, Reasons for start RRT, Long term survivors on renal replacement therapy.

•	Ronald Cornet, PhD (senior medical informatician)
	- NephroQUEST work package leader.
	- Advisory role in IT matters.
