PROCEEDINGS

The ERA-EDTA Council has recently decided to save some of the very first European scientific material related to the Association's activities.

For this purpose it decided to make available to all those who are interested the “Proceedings” of our Association's Congresses from the 1st Congress of 1964 until the birth of our Journal, “Nephrology Dialysis Transplantation” in 1985.

These “Proceedings” enclose the birth and history of European Dialysis, Nephrology and related subjects and are extremely rare and difficult to find today.

Special thanks goes to one of the founding members of our Association, and current Honorary Member Prof Stanley Shaldon. Prof Shaldon in fact has lent us all the volumes of the Association's “Proceedings” so that we could put them on our web-site.
