ERA-EDTA Membership Fees
All ERA-EDTA members who pay their annual membership fees receive all the advantages as described below. With regard the the NDT Journal here are the specifics.
The ERA-EDTA membership fee for 2006 is EURO 125.00 (Full Fee); EURO 90.00 (Online Fee) or EURO 50.00 (Junior Fee). For more details see below. Discounted membership fees are available ONLY for members living in certain countries - see table below.
No other kinds of membership fee reductions are possible.

How to become an ERA-EDTA Member
In order to becam a member you must fill in the Application form and Payment form and send them to the ERA-EDTA Membership Office see address and forms at the bottom of the page.
Included in the payment of the "Regular Fee" (and the "Discounted Fee") is a free paper subscription to NDT. Due to the success of the journal, the ERA-EDTA Council has decided to increase the number of pages per issue to more than 200, and to print the abstracts accepted for oral or poster presentation at the ERA-EDTA Congress in the same issue of the journal published in the month of the Congress. The "NDT" monthly issues (and paper supplements) are NOT sent to those members who pay the "Online" membership fee.
Free access to NDT (Nephrology, Dialysis, Transplantation) Online
As an active member of the ERA-EDTA you will be able to receive free access to NDT Online (www.ndt.oupjournals.org). This year we have introduced a number of new features in addition to the core functions of accessing and searching articles from current and archival issues going back to 1986 (NDT vol. 1), as well as all supplements published since 1999 (included). Accessing NDT Online also means that you can link from references direct to their Medline abstracts, or join the NDT table of contents alerting service, to be e-mailed the table of contents of each issue on publication. You can also register for a variety of other alerting services, for instance, if you would like to be notified when an article that you have found particularly interesting is cited in a future issue of NDT, or any other journal within the HighWire group of journals (for example, the Journal of American Society of Nephrology, American Journal of Kidney Disease, BMJ and Renal Physiology). Users can now also register to receive the table of contents and abstracts on your PDA, or if there is a figure of interest you can download it to PowerPoint simply at the click of a button.
To register for online access you must be a member and have regularly paid your ERA-EDTA membership fee, then simply go to www.oup.co.uk/Register and follow the simple instructions. You will need your subscription number (8 digits) to create your own password – you will find this on the address label of your printed copies of NDT, or you can request it by contacting the ERA-EDTA Membership Office ( membership@era-edta.org ).

Major investments are made by the Association to improve the scientific and educational contents of our annual Congress. The Glasgow Congress will provide up-to-date information on basic science, clinical nephrology, dialysis and renal transplantation. These topics will be presented in plenary lectures, mini lectures, symposia and free communications by world known experts. Literature updates and hands-on courses will also be organised.
U.E.M.S. CME credits will be given to participants.
Travel grants will be attributed to the presenting authors of the best abstracts under the age of 40.
Special discounted Registration fees are applicable for all those members who have paid their current annual membership fee.
Only members are allowed to register their Username and Password to enter the protected libraries included in the “Members' Area”. Here members will also find the “ERA-EDTA Directory” that contains the addresses phone, fax and e-mails (when available) of all ERA-EDTA Members.
