![]() ![]() ![]() 3th European Renal Osteodystrophy (EUROD) Winter meeting We are pleased to inform you that the 2020 EUROD winter meeting is currently in preparation to outperform all previous years for you! The 2020 edition will take place from January 16 to January 18, 2020 at the historical Convent of Chièvres in Leuven (Belgium). The meeting will consist of a research forum (January 16), a CME dedicated to the topic of “Vitamins and oxidative stress on the cross-roads of bone and vessels” and a hands-on CME dealing with the “Challenge of osteoporosis therapy in advanced CKD”. Submit your abstract(s) as a word file to ckd-mbd@era-edta.org Deadline: December 6 2019 at 23h59 In the week of December 17 2019 authors will be notified about acceptance of their abstract as an oral presentation.
How to submit structured abstracts: • Microsoft Word format (doc or docx) • Maximum one A4 • Times New Roman font 12 • Margins: All sides minimally 2.5 centimeter • Lay out: Title, Authors, Affiliations, Objective, Methods, Results, Conclusion • Language: English
The authors of the best 5 abstracts will be awarded with an ERA-EDTA travel grant. Travel grants can only be granted to ERA-EDTA members (cat. A and B.), who are 40 years old and younger and submitted and abstract. Click here to read the travel grant regulations and download the application form.

![]() Call for candidates
We would like to draw your attention to the open Call for candidacies to become a CKD-MBD Working Group Board Member.
In 2020 the Board composition must be partially renewed and 2 new members will be elected. Before applying, please read the Working Groups regulations carefully and consider that to be eligible for the Board a member must have been an ordinary member of the WG for at least 2 years (or from its creation) or have a proven track record of relevant scientific expertise that would justify his/her being part of the Board; he/she must also be an active ERA-EDTA Full member: exceptions to this last rule can only be made for non-nephrologists.
Each candidate must send his/her application and CV (the use of this special template is mandatory) together with two supporting letters from two CKD-MBD members (Board or Ordinary members) to ckd-mbd@era-edta.org, the CKD-MBD secretariat will, indeed, collect the candidatures on behalf of the Working Group Vice Chair.
The deadline to apply is November 30, 2019. No candidatures sent after this date will be accepted; furthermore, candidatures not fulfilling all the above mentioned requirements, as per the Working Groups regulations, will not be taken into consideration.
