World Kidney Day 2019
World Kidney Day - Kidney Health for everyone everywhere!

In support of World Kidney Day (WKD), which aims to raise awareness on kidney diseases, especially among politicians and other stakeholders, we have asked Carmine Zoccali, the ERA-EDTA President, to comment on this disease and its threatening dimensions (850 million people worldwide are affected by kidney disease).

The ERA-EDTA Working Group on Inherited Kidney Diseases (WGIKD) and ERKNet, the European Reference Network for Rare Kidney Diseases, are pleased to present Rare Kidney Disease Webinars, an educational initiative that is freely accessible to all users.

A new Webinar will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 4:00 to 5:00 pm CET (3:00 pm UK time, 5:00 pm Eastern European time).

In memory of Prof. François Berthoux

The ERA-EDTA is in mourning for the loss of Prof. François Berthoux, a renowned representative of European Nephrology as well as Honorary member and Past President of the ERA-EDTA.

The ERA-EDTA Council and the whole Association would like to honour the life and achievements of Prof. François Berthoux with an In Memoriam tribute written by Prof. Christoph Mariat.
