The ERN Working Group has launched a Survey aimed at identifying the clinical priorities in Nutritional Practice for non-dialysis chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients by gathering views from different Stakeholders involved in CKD care (Nephrologists, Nutritionists, Dietitians, Nurses and Patients). We invite you to actively participate in this Survey that should take no more than 20 minutes. The Survey is available in several languages (English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese and Italian). We appreciate if you could share this link with all of your professional contacts and any national and international scientific and/or patients’ associations involved in CKD care you are currently in contact with.

NDT - Article of the week
Emerging evidence of an effect of salt on innate and adaptive immunity
High salt intake promotes hypertension, impedes the efficacy of RAAS-inhibitors and increases the risk of adverse cardio-renal outcome. Recent studies have addressed the impact of salt intake on the immune system with potential implications for patients with CKD and kidney transplant recipients. This review article summarises the current state-of-the-art study on the subject.
The paper is accessible free of charge until this Sunday at 23.59 (UK time). Do not miss it!
