To  better  serve cardiologists and  nephrologists  with  a prominent interest in Cardiovascular and Renal Medicine, Oxford  University Press  has launched  a new virtual Journal, including  cardio-renal medicine  articles  published  in the Journals of the  European Society of Cardiology and those  published  in the  Journals  of the  European  Renal Association - European  Dialysis and Transplant Association. All articles have been made freely available until September 1, 2019 or have been published open access.

The clinical implication of monoclonal gammopathies: monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance and monoclonal gammopathy of renal significance
Batko and colleagues review the last definitions and treatment strategies for monoclonal gammopathies, a fast evolving field with important renal consequences. From B cells defects to tissue accumulation of abnormal proteins, these gammopathies are usually sensitive to chemotherapy, immunomodulation and monoclonal antibodies.
