ERA-EDTA cares
ERA-EDTA cares

The ERA-EDTA values the comments that congress delegates have submitted via the post congress feedback questionnaire. The Association is always looking for new ways to improve services, learning and networking opportunities. For this reason, in the upcoming e-newsletters, we would like to address some of the issues that matter to you.

The App was super, but voting did not work and it shut down several times. It can (and should) be optimised.

The ERA-EDTA acknowledges the issues related to the Voting system at the 55th ERA-EDTA Congress and we do apologise for this. This year the Voting system was in fact highly dependent on the Wi-Fi of the lecture halls, both for the central operating system and the mobile apps.

The ERA-EDTA and its suppliers have been working on some significant changes to make Voting less dependent on a continuous internet connection. In addition, the technical team is also working on a new Voting tool, which will enable delegates to cast votes without logging in to ensure faster access and fully anonymous transactions.

Over 40 organisations from the health, social and employment sectors are now supporting the work, which was launched and presented to the European Commission on 27th November 2017.
