Vitamin D status and mortality risk among patients on dialysis: a systematic review and meta-analysis of observational studies

Higher serum vitamin D is associated with lower all-cause and cardiovascular mortality in dialysis patients

A recently published systematic review and meta-analysis of observational studies showed that increased serum 25(OH)D level was significantly associated with lower all-cause mortality and lower cardiovascular mortality in dialysis patients.
